Sr. Photographer – Christina

Christina Ragusin joins us on many weddings as a senior photographer. Owner of Lilybelle Photography, Christina has many years of experience photographing and editing weddings. Her fun personality puts people at ease, and she captures a bride’s day beautifully. Look for her on the dance floor if your DJ plays “Cupid Shuffle!”
An interview with Christina:
How did you get into photography/videography as a field? Believe it or not, I was in school to be a firefighter. I took a photography class as an elective and I fell in love. Photography runs in my family (my grandfather came over from England in 1920 and he got a job working for Eastman Kodak), so it just seemed natural. I worked for a couple chain studios and a photo lab, but it never really made me happy. After I had my first daughter and took her announcement picture, that was it. Everyone told me I needed to go into business. So I did.
What’s your favorite thing about photography? My favorite? The ability to stop time with a click of a button. That’s pretty cool.
What’s a random, fun piece of trivia about you? I am a geek. Hard core gamer chick, sci-fi loving, zombie killing, nerd crushing geek. I have an unwavering love for Han Solo and Cap’t Malcolm Reynolds.
What book/movie/TV show/comfort food can you not live without? Book: Any of the Hollows Series by Kim Harrison. Movie: The Princess Bride. TV Show: Firefly will always be my favorite. Food: My homemade spaghetti and meatballs.
Favorite hobbies/past-times? Geocaching with my family! Look it up, http://www.geocaching.com
Anything else you’d like to say about yourself? I am a born again Christian, a wife to a wonderful man, mom to the most beautiful girls on the planet, and I have the best job in the world. Life is good.
