Owner – Jenni

Jenni O’Connor is the owner and founder of Lion’s Roar Media. She is the lead photographer and videographer, and the lead editor.

Like most photographers, Jenni grew up behind the lens. As an impatient teenager, she was always bothering the 1-hour photo developer to “please do it in a half hour!” She grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, and graduated from Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma.

Following a layoff in 2002, Jenni decided to pursue her dream of working full-time in photography and videography. Wade and Jenni built the company slowly, and are proud to have been in business for 9 years.

Jenni can usually be found sipping a McDonald’s sweet tea, editing, and wrangling her two daughters. She’s a Facebook addict, and she loves snarky TV shows like Scrubs and Arrested Development. She considers shoe shopping a viable sport. She’s always looking for ways to improve her skills, and learn new things. Her passion for photography and her clients is what sets her apart as a favorite photographer.
